This project involved the development of a custom software tool designed to ingest real-time atmospheric data and convert it into generative visual compositions. The objective was to find a middle ground between cold, numerical data and the chaotic, fluid nature of weather systems. I had to write a script that could interpret wind speeds, humidity percentages, and barometric pressure as variables that dictate the density, opacity, and movement of digital particles within a 3D space.

The resulting images and animations are not simply "drawings," but visual representations of actual environmental changes captured over 28-day cycles. This project required a high degree of technical precision, as I had to refine the rendering pipeline to ensure that the system didn't crash while processing thousands of data points simultaneously. It represents a shift in my practice toward using design not just for marketing or products, but as a lens through which we can interpret the data that constantly shapes our environment.
